ABOUT ME
I love how a simple photo can preserve a time and place in a person’s life.I believe a great photo is one that makes you stop in your tracks to see what is really there.
I am a mom, wife, aunt, and daughter. I love to run (not walk), and hate to write! I love dancing, music and being super busy. I love flower gardening, decorating and cooking (especially on Sundays with my family). I am a night owl and wish there were more hours in a day. I love hanging out with family and friends and making new friends. Photography has definitely allowed me to make new friends, and I am grateful to each and every client for choosing me to capture the special moments in their lives.
I own and operate a full time portrait studio located in Columbia, NH. I specialize in fine portrait photography including families, babies, maternity, seniors and weddings. I am a member of the NHPPA, PPA, NEIPP, WREN, and CRAIG.
My style is fun and relaxed, and my experience with lighting and composition will give you beautiful portraits to enjoy for years to come. I strive to make each portrait session a stress free and enjoyable experience.
THE STUDIO
Sunny Valley Creations, officially established in 2007, offers an inviting environment and variety of options for your photography needs. With the help of my awesome husband, who has created an indoor studio space and beautiful landscape, our exceptional studio came to be. The amazing outdoor area surrounding our custom-built indoor studio is a unique feature that distinguishes us.
Our outdoor studio areas include rock walls, a white arbor, seasonal flowerbeds, fences, large "seat" rocks, benches, a covered porch and swing, seasonal blooming trees, and a tall grass maze. We also have a nearby historic covered bridge, railroad tracks, old red buildings, and fields. Our dirt road location also offers an amazing mountain landscape. We are constantly updating props, backgrounds, and outdoor areas throughout the four-seasons to give our customers plenty of choices for a unique session, inside or outside.
We are also the only full time studio in the area.
